Data from SAP HCM tables PCL1 and PCL2 can only be extracted using the Xtract BAPI component. Data extraction via Xtract Table component is not supported.
First you need to create a remote enabled custom function module in SAP transaction SE37. Please see below.
This function module is then used in the Xtract BAPI component.
The function module requires the following Import Parameters:
PERNR TYPE=PC2B0-PERNR;
ACTIONID TYPE=CHAR2; DEFAULT = 'P1'
STARTDATE TYPE=DATS;
ENDDATE TYPE=DATS;
Next we need the following Table Parameters:
ERT LIKE=PC2B8
ST LIKE=PC2B5
CRT LIKE=PC208
Below you can find the ABAP source code of the function module. Please copy and paste this code in the source code area of the function module.
```FUNCTION Z_HR_CLUSTER_READ.
- If you populate Import Parameter “ACTIONID” with value P1, then you also need to populate field PERNR with a value for Personnel Number. No additional parameters are needed. You get the result in the table parameter ST.
- If you need the payroll results of cluster table PCL2, you need to populate Import Parameter “ACTIONID” with value P2 and have to fill in a start date and end date for parameters STARTDATE and ENDDATE. You get the result in the table parameter CRT.
This is a sample for our Product Xtract IS:
Please note: The personnel number has to be entered with leading zeroes. The date fields have the format yyyymmdd.
